Selection Process:

The selection process for SSR (Medical Assistant) recruitment consists of two phases:

      1. Phase 1 – Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted based on their 10+2 marks in Biology, Physics, and Chemistry. The shortlisting will be done on a state-wise basis.

      1. Phase 2 – Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Written Exam, and Medical Examination:
            • Physical Fitness Test (PFT):
                  • 1.6 km Run: Must be completed in 6 minutes 30 seconds.

                  • Squats: 20 squats.

                  • Push-ups: 15 push-ups.

              • Written Exam:
                    • Objective-type questions in English, Science, Biology, and General Knowledge.

                    • The question paper will be bilingual (Hindi and English) and have a total of 100 marks, with each section carrying 25 marks.

                    • Duration: 1 hour.

                    • Qualifying marks will be determined by the Indian Navy.

                • Medical Examination: Candidates who qualify for the PFT and written exam will undergo a detailed medical examination. Candidates must be in good physical and mental health and free from any disability that may interfere with the efficient performance of duties.
