Indian Army TES-53 (Technical Entry Scheme) for July 2025
The Indian Army has opened applications for its 53rd Technical Entry Scheme (TES-53) course commencing in July 2025. This entry is for unmarried male candidates who have completed 10+2 education in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) and have appeared in the JEE (Mains) 2024. The selected candidates will be trained for a total of four years and will be commissioned as Lieutenants in the Indian Army upon successful completion of training.

Eligibility Criteria
Criteria | Description |

Nationality | Indian citizens or subjects of Nepal. Persons of Indian origin from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. |
Age Limit | Between 16½ and 19½ years as on 1st July 2025 (Born between 2nd January 2006 and 1st January 2009). |
Marital Status | Unmarried Male Candidates only. |
Educational Qualification | 10+2 or equivalent with a minimum of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM). Must have appeared in JEE (Mains) 2024. |

How to Apply
- Online Application: Applications may be acknowledged online at www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.
- Editing of Application: Candidates can make changes to their application until the closing date. No progressions will be permitted after accommodation.
