The Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) has announced the Apprentice Engagement under the Apprentices Act, 1961. This is a golden opportunity for ITI, Diploma, and Graduate holders to receive hands-on training and experience in various trades at the Narora Atomic Power Station.

2. Available Apprenticeships
There are three categories of apprenticeships: Trade Apprentice, Diploma Apprentice, and Graduate Apprentice. The details of each category, including stipend and age limit, are provided below:
a) Trade Apprentice

3. Eligibility Criteria
To apply for these apprentice positions, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
a) Educational Qualifications

4. Category-Wise Seat Distribution
NPCIL provides reservations as per Government of India guidelines. Below is the category-wise distribution of seats for each type of apprenticeship:

5. Physical Fitness Requirements
Before applying, candidates must meet the minimum physical standards as defined by NPCIL:

Candidates should be free from any contagious or infectious diseases and must pass a medical examination by the competent authority.
6. Selection Process
- The first preference will be given to local candidates residing within a 16 km radius of the Narora Atomic Power Station.
- Shortlisting will be done based on the percentage of marks obtained in the respective trade or discipline.
- In case of a tie, the candidate with the earlier birth date will be considered.
- Further ties will be resolved by considering the percentage of marks obtained in Matriculation (10th grade).
7. How to Apply
Interested candidates must follow a two-step process to apply:
a) Step 1: Register Online
- Trade Apprentices: Register on the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) 2.0 portal at NAPS Portal.
- Diploma & Graduate Apprentices: Register on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) 2.0 portal at NATS Portal.
b) Step 2: Apply at NPCIL Website
After registration, candidates must apply on the NPCIL official website at NPCIL Careers between 13th September 2024 (10:00 AM) and 3rd October 2024 (4:00 PM).

8. General Conditions
- No Hostel or Transport facilities will be provided.
- Completing the apprenticeship does not guarantee employment at NPCIL.
- Candidates already undergoing or who have completed an apprenticeship are ineligible to apply.
