The Railway Recruitment Cell, North Central Railway (RRC-NCR) invites ONLINE applications from interested candidates across India for engagement as Act Apprentices under the Apprentices Act 1961 for the year 2024-25. A total of 1679 slots are available across various divisions and workshops.

Important Instructions:

  1. Application Process:
    • Applications can be submitted ONLINE only at https://www.rrcpryj.org.
    • Make sure to fill in all the details carefully, especially Aadhar, PAN, Marks, and trade preferences.
    • Ensure you upload legible and clear scanned copies of your required documents (e.g., 10th pass certificate, ITI certificate).
  2. Age and Category Documents:
    • SC/ST/OBC candidates must upload caste certificates in the prescribed Central Government format.
    • PWD candidates should provide relevant disability certificates.
    • EWS candidates should submit valid income and asset certificates.
  3. Selection Process:
    • Selection will be based on a merit list, which is the average of the percentage of marks obtained in both Matriculation (with a minimum of 50%) and ITI examination.
    • In case of equal marks, candidates with older age will be preferred.
  4. Application Fee:
    • Rs. 100/- for General and OBC candidates (non-refundable).
    • No fee for SC/ST/PWD/Women candidates.
  5. Medical Fitness & Physical Standards:
    • Selected candidates must submit a medical certificate signed by a government-authorized doctor.
    • Physical standards include basic height, weight, and chest requirements, along with specific standards for vision and hearing (details in the official notification).
  6. Training Period & Stipend:
    • Training Duration: 1 year
    • Stipend: Paid as per the extant rules governed by the concerned state governments during the training period.
