RRB NTPC 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT)

English:

Candidates are shortlisted based on their performance in the 1st Stage CBT.
The number of candidates to be shortlisted is 15 times the community-wise vacancies for the post.
The exam duration is 120 minutes for PwBD candidates accompanied by a Scribe.

Exam Details:

General Awareness: 50 questions
Mathematics: 35 questions
General Intelligence and Reasoning: 35 questions
Total Number of Questions: 120
The section-wise distribution is indicative only.
Negative marking is applicable.

Mathematics Syllabus:

Number System, Decimals, Fractions, LCM, HCF, Ratio and Proportions, Percentage, Mensuration, Time and Work, Time and Distance, Simple and Compound Interest, Profit and Loss, Elementary Algebra, Geometry and Trigonometry, Elementary Statistics, etc.

General Intelligence and Reasoning Syllabus:

Analogies, Completion of Number and Alphabetical Series, Coding and Decoding, Mathematical Operations, Similarities and Differences, Relationships, Analytical Reasoning, Syllogism, Jumbling, Venn Diagrams, Puzzle, Data Sufficiency, Statement-Conclusion, Statement-Courses of Action, Decision Making, Maps, Interpretation of Graphs, etc.

General Awareness Syllabus:

Current Events of National and International Importance, Games and Sports, Art and Culture of India, Indian Literature, Monuments and Places of India, General Science and Life Science (up to 10th CBSE), History of India and Freedom Struggle, Physical, Social and Economic Geography of India and World, Indian Polity and Governance – Constitution and Political System, General Scientific and Technological Developments including Space and Nuclear Program of India, UN and other important World Organizations, Environmental Issues Concerning India and World at Large, Basics of Computers and Computer Applications, Common Abbreviations, Transport Systems in India, Indian Economy, Famous Personalities of India and World, Flagship Government Programs, Flora and Fauna of India, Important Government and Public Sector Organizations of India, etc.

हिंदी:

उम्मीदवारों को उनके पहले चरण के CBT के प्रदर्शन के आधार पर शॉर्टलिस्ट किया जाता है।
शॉर्टलिस्ट किए जाने वाले उम्मीदवारों की संख्या पद के लिए समुदाय-वार रिक्तियों की 15 गुना होती है।
पीडब्ल्यूबीडी उम्मीदवारों के लिए, एक साक्षर के साथ 120 मिनट की परीक्षा अवधि होती है।

गणित सिलेबस:

संख्या प्रणाली, दशमलव, भिन्न, LCM, HCF, अनुपात और अनुपात, प्रतिशत, क्षेत्रमिति, कार्य और समय, समय और दूरी, साधारण और चक्रवृद्धि ब्याज, लाभ और हानि, प्राथमिक बीजगणित, ज्यामिति और त्रिकोणमिति, प्राथमिक सांख्यिकी आदि।

सामान्य बुद्धिमत्ता और तर्कशक्ति सिलेबस:

एनालॉजी, संख्या और वर्णानुक्रम श्रृंखला की पूर्ति, कोडिंग और डिकोडिंग, गणितीय क्रियाएँ, समानताएँ और भिन्नताएँ, संबंध, विश्लेषणात्मक तर्क, साइलोज़िज्म, जम्बलिंग, वेन आरेख, पहेली, डेटा पर्याप्तता, कथन-निष्कर्ष, कथन-कार्यवाही के कोर्स, निर्णय लेना, मानचित्र, ग्राफ की व्याख्या आदि।

सामान्य जागरूकता सिलेबस:

राष्ट्रीय और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय महत्त्व की वर्तमान घटनाएँ, खेल और खेलकूद, भारत की कला और संस्कृति, भारतीय साहित्य, भारत के स्मारक और स्थान, सामान्य विज्ञान और जीवन विज्ञान (10वीं कक्षा तक), भारत का इतिहास और स्वतंत्रता संग्राम, भारत और विश्व का भौतिक, सामाजिक और आर्थिक भूगोल, भारतीय राजनीति और शासन – संविधान और राजनीतिक व्यवस्था, सामान्य वैज्ञानिक और तकनीकी विकास जिसमें भारत का अंतरिक्ष और परमाणु कार्यक्रम शामिल है, संयुक्त राष्ट्र और अन्य महत्वपूर्ण विश्व संगठन, भारत और विश्व के लिए पर्यावरणीय मुद्दे, भारत में परिवहन प्रणाली, भारतीय अर्थव्यवस्था, भारतीय और विश्व की प्रमुख हस्तियाँ, प्रमुख सरकारी योजनाएँ, भारत की वनस्पति और जीव, और भारत के महत्वपूर्ण सरकारी और सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र के संगठन आदि।
